WHO HAS ACCESS TO MY INFORMATION?
The softwares and services we use are accessible by selected and trained staff members only. In some cases we need to send information to third parties e.g. manufacturing/orders related info or marketing/analytics related info. In these cases we use trusted partners or are bound by a service providers’ terms of service. Our trusted partners do not have the permission to use any of the information received for their own purposes or to redistribute it. Customer data processing requires password authentication on every software and service we use.
CUSTOMER PRODUCTS & MANUFACTURING
The customer information processed in our softwares and services such as digital documents or product models are only accessible by the staff members who’s job description involves using the said softwares and services. All our softwares and services related to production and manufacturing and containing any customer information are password protected.
We use Google Ads services. Google Ads sets a cookie on your device. The cookie will expire in 30 days and cannot identify you personally as the user: the cookie helps us and Google to recognise that someone clicked our advertisement and was directed to our website. We use Google Analytics to develop and asses the contents of our website (materflow.com). Google Analytics gathers data on the usage of our website. Google Analytics can’t identify the users. If you do not want Google to track your actions you can disable cookies from your browser settings. We use analytics tool Leadfeeder to gathers data on the usage of our website. Leadfeeder doesn’t identify the users on our site but generates leads based on companies that visit our site. To find out more about Leadfeeder click here.
BING SEARCH ADS
We use Bing search ads. If you enter your site through a Bing ad, Microsoft Bing Ads sets a cookie on your device. The cookie helps us and Microsoft Bing to recognise that someone clicked our advertisement and was directed to our website. If you do not want Microsoft to track your actions you can disable cookies from your browser settings.
We use Facebook ads. The ads are served based on Facebook’s user data. You can prevent Facebook Website Custom Audiences by clicking here.
We use Hotjar analytics service. Hotjar randomly records a selected communication between a user and our website without identifying the user in any way. The service helps us identify the cursor movements and clicks on our website and to develop the site and its contents. You can block Hotjar by adding DoNoTrack to your browser. We use MailChimp for our newsletter marketing. MailChimp collects and stores user data such as name and email addresses for our marketing purposes. The data is collected through our website (newsletter subscription) and by adding contacts directly to our direct marketing list on MailChimp. MailChimp is password protected and used by our staff members who’s job description involves direct marketing. SHARING DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
Some necessary data is provided to third parties in order to enable transaction, delivery, marketing or service. E.g. for product deliveries a name and an address is provided to the logistics operators and billing information is provided to billing service. Each third party is only provided the information necessary to carry out the service in question.
We use Lunni (Lunni Oy) as our CRM system. The systems host customer data such as contact and billing info. The system is password protected and only the staff members with relevant job description have access.
